As you know, US president Donald Trump has ordered airstrikes against Bashar al-Assad's troops in Syria. In other words, Trump has chosen to attack the only people who are seriously fighting the mass-murdering terrorists of the Islamic State.

Jewish media and jewish politicians – both republicans and democrats – are happy about this decision, but Trump's supporters are outraged since he campaigned on not getting involved in zionist wars in the Middle East.

So what caused the US president to betray the people who got him elected, and who expected him to put America first? A lot of his (former) supporters are saying that this disturbing turn of events happened because Trump's foreign policy has been hijacked by neocon/zionist jews who only care about advancing the interests of Israel, whose prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has been agitating against al-Assad for a long time.

This might sound like an "antisemitic conspiracy theory", but interestingly, mainstream media are openly writing about how president Trump's jewish son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is basically taking over the White House, and they are emphasizing his jewish origin and zionism/deep ties to Israel. Here are some of the articles that I'm talking about:

Jared Kushner fired me over Israel ten years ago

Donald Trump has now named his son-in-law Jared Kushner as a senior adviser, notably on Middle East/Israel issues (…) I was apprehensive about Kushner’s view of the blog and me. I knew that he had been a big supporter of the orthodox Jewish Chabad House at Harvard and had lauded Alan Dershowitz there. (…) My interactions with Jared were limited, but they don’t give me hope about his ability to achieve peace in the Middle East. He lived in a deeply-Zionist-patriarchal mental space then; I never saw him take a step out of it.

Jared Kushner Helped Push Steve Bannon Out Of The NSC

New details emerged Wednesday about the role President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, played in convincing the president to remove top political adviser Steve Bannon from the National Security Council.

Rex Tillerson, Jared Kushner's Understudy

But as valuable as Tillerson “The Titan” may appear in a high-profile crisis moment, he has been generally relegated to outsider status within the small power circle centralized in the West Wing. Jared Kushner, who like his father-in-law is a real estate heir, has the more final word on foreign policy. And Nikki Haley -- who thus far has been more visible and outspoken than Tillerson in her role as ambassador to the United Nations -- is now viewed as the next secretary of state, prepared to step in after Tillerson bails. Thursday morning, hours before the airstrikes, Axios noted that Tillerson operates in Kushner’s shadow and added a quote from “a friend” who said, “I don't know what Rex does every day.”

Jared Kushner's 28-year-old protégé is his right-hand man in the White House

At the time, neither could have predicted that a few years later, Kushner, now a senior adviser to his father-in-law, President Donald Trump, would be one of the most powerful people in the country and Berkowitz his right-hand man. (…) Both Ivy League-educated lawyers, they have matching dispositions and similar worldviews influenced by their Jewish schooling and deep ties to Israel, according to several of Berkowitz's friends who spoke with Business Insider. Berkowitz reflects a larger trend in a White House staffed by friends and family of a president who prizes loyalty and de-prioritizes political experience.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's ever-growing spheres of influence

The Orthodox Jewish couple…

I have the following questions for my fellow DLP members:

1. Was it right of president Trump to order airstrikes against Bashar al-Assad's troops in Syria, even though he campaigned on not getting involved in zionist wars in the Middle East?

2. Is it good or bad that president Trump's zionist son-in-law has this much influence in his administration?

As always, all opinions are welcome.
