A show I saw last night pleasantly surprised me.

His latest project is New Worlds, an album where he sings and reads American classics accompanied by a classical trio. It was created with the help of Jan Vogler, a German cellist and Murray's creative partner.
I thought it was going to be a monologue and would never have attended if not for the invitation.
It was really beautiful music ( love the cello) and though I had never really followed Bill Murray did a fabulous job reading and acting American classics.

The theater is gorgeous where it was held.

Murray is underrated. He's a true artist.

I never appreciated him until last night.
I had seen him in a few movies and such and never really paid attention.

Last night he played multiple roles and voices of Robert E Lee and Grant and Huck Finn and various foreign accents as well.
He was subtle and awesome and put the emphasis onto the musicians for solos.

I am not sure if they have it on youtube yet.
I saw a man filming with his phone and the usher came and asked him to stop.

I was raised in a home sans television.

I rarely saw movies. I have been exposed to a lot in life except mainstream television or Hollywood.
I have seen him in films (Lost in Translation and others) and just never focused on him. B said Razors Edge is good so I will watch it.
I am going to back track and watch his films now.
