HOLOCAUST Memorial Day sees people across the world remember victims of one of the worst atrocities in human history.

And vowing never to forget the six million people who died at the hands of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi rule, a British museum has used advanced digital technologies for the next generation to learn first hand what persecuted Jews went through.Six Holocaust survivors, who died in the last 12 months, are being championed in a groundbreaking project using 3D laser imaging to preserve their testimonies.Visitors to the National Holocaust Centre and Museum in Newark, Nottinghamshire, can see and hear six survivors sharing their stories, and also ask them questions and receive a response to the specially programmed system. The Forever Project will allow future generations to listen to and interactive with Holocaust survivors for years to come and is vital to preserve the memory of those who lost their lives.
