Lightbulb Ryan may be forced to leave speakership by summer

Paul Ryan said he plans to remain as speaker and not call an early leadership election, but well-wired Republicans tell Jonathan Swan and me that Ryan may be forced out sooner.

What we're hearing: One source close to leadership told us: "Scuttlebutt is that Paul will have to step down from speakership soon. Members won’t follow a lame duck, he’ll have no leverage to cut deals, and the last thing they need in this environment is 6 months of palace intrigue and everyone stabbing everyone else in the back."

What a joke the repubes have become. Nakedly joining forces with the America destroying commiecrats just to keep their private little party going.

If the founding fathers were around to witness it...the majority of the repube party would be marched outside of the Capitol Building and shot.

He'll probably (or as Jebe would say "prolly") join Boehner in that pot advisory board.

Paul Ryan was about the worst house speaker Republicans could have had with Trump as president because they have little common ground. Paul Ryan has never been successful in cutting entitlements, but says Republicans want to do it anyway, which is terrible; entitlement cuts + open borders "that's not who we are" rhetoric is recipe for electoral disaster.

He should leave tomorrow, unless he really doesn't care about spending more time with his children.

Say one thing to get elected and do the opposite when they get to Washington is what the repube party platform has become.
At least the democrats are up front with their hate America agenda. They're fucking garbage but at least they don't try and hide it.

I've been saying the same thing-- the Dems have always been consistent with their agenda and have never bothered to hide who they really are, while the Republicans are all about bait-and-switch tactics. I believe it will cost them dearly in November.

The sooner people realize that the Republican Party is the a different wing of the same Bilderberg/"Illuminati" bird, the better off America will be.
