The media: moderate Republicans in suburbs will save us from Krumpf!

    The reality:

Republican percentage of the two-party vote in suburbs

    1992: 48.75% (source)
    1996: 47.19% (source)
    2000: 51.09% (source)
    2004: 52.53% (source)
    2008: 48.98% (source)
    2012: 51.02% (source)
    2016: 52.63% (source)

If Trump is toxic to suburban voters, then it was even more true of the media's "honorable" Republicans, McCain and Bush.

In Fort Bend County, TX, one of the few places this could hold true, Ted Cruz got more votes than all of the Democrat Senate candidates combined and he didn't even face a serious primary opponent. It does not look like Trump will hurt down-ballot Republicans.

fort bend is split between negro bible believers, crack addicts, wetbacks, and primarily conservatives. the only good thing the republicans have going about it is voter id is required.
its akin to trying to lead a horse by holding a carrot near its butt..........it just aint gonna work
