    Oversharing on social media

Idk seems too personal to share to the general public or is it just me?

I agree with you, but there is an audience out there who lives for this kind of thing.

    Fair enough.

    So I’ll share.

I was walking to my car as the same time as a co-worker making idle chit chat.
All of sudden she burst out “my son is dead”.
I had zero context then had to basically pry the why.
I’m not of fan of the baiting/manipulation, although she didn’t do that, b/c she had just found out about her son 2 hours prior.

    Ugh.

There's a difference between someone trying to reach out and those who just keep feeding their addiction for attention. One on one vs. social media, lack of colorful build-up vs elaborate, planned out story telling, vague and manipulating vs awkward and in shock, etc.

I hope your co-worker found some peace. That sounds horrible.

When you walk under a streetlight at night, does it go out? I'm serious, not being sarcastic here.

    I get that.
It was her only child, so my guess is no.
