YaYa Weather by email and other means.

First thing I do when I sit down at the computer is check email. How handy -- albeit old school -- would it be to receive daily weather forecasts and/or updates this way? For me, very. Just never thought of it before.

Anyway, I found there are a lot of weather news options from a variety of sources. Here's a list: https://www.weather.gov/emailupdates/

It looks to be quite comprehensive.

    You trust the weather channel?

    I use this service: http://www.emergencyemail.org

They constantly promise me amazing storms of destruction. It gives me hope to continue on.

ee.org looks pretty cool. A helping of news is a worthwhile feature. I might subscribe.

So, I get up first thing in the morning, sit down at the computer and just as I signed up for, get the day's weather outlook, the weekly forecast and any emergency alerts relating to the weather.

Exactly what I was looking for. What a great way to wake up.

How are you, Harmartha? You haven't been here in awhile.

Are you suggesting they indulge in fake weather?
