Exclamation IRS: Average Obamacare "Bronze" plan $695 per person, per month.

The IRS's assumption that the cheapest plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan.

NOTE: CNS News is wrong.. This is a national average..

    Still, wow..

Love to be in the insurance business!

I just want affordable insurance.. The subsidies and regulations serve to distort the market here.

If they want national healthcare.. They just got it..

This is the BASIC plan.. Families aren't going to be able to afford this..

Profit has nothing to do with it.. companies don't set their own margins. The market sets them, and we're warping it out of shape..

Subsidies create price inflation for that reason.. We need more doctors, if we're going to subsidize something.. why not that?

This is going to blow up..

Imagine what employers are going to say about this?

    "Whooooa! Fuck that!"

Example: When I was in my twenties, the typical profit on a color photographic print, in THIS market, was about 400%..

But you didn't get to set that... See?

It's not like the boss sat down and decided that was what he was going to make on a print..

It was dictated by the competition to provide, and the sales for, photographic prints, in this market.

It could just as easily have been 800%.. Or 200%..

And that's the problem here.. they're attempting to use price controls and a top down strategy to force health care to be and to cost exactly what they decide..

Normally, things can't become too expensive to exist in a particular market.. Because you go broke.

Even BETTER.. In the case of doctors, they can switch markets fairly easily.. Leaving broad swaths without care..

Now, how do you suppose they'll address that?

MORE SUBSIDY'S are one way.. Brute force is another..

    This is gonna blow up..

I mean.. Imagine your choice as a doctor..

You're a medical professional.. Esteemed dude.. Trained up..

So, do you set up in an affluent section of florida? Or detriot?

And if not detroit.. Why not detroit?

This is a mess.. We need more doctors.. and fewer price subsidy's..

If doctors aren't forced to find new markets, you're either going to have to pay them or you're going to have to force them to cover certain areas..

If you WANT cheaper healthcare, and better coverage.. You need more providers.

In fact, this is SO FUCKED UP that you can't just open a hospital in many areas..

You have to prove a "need" to do so.. ? Which, you may not get..

I can buy car or shop insurance from anywhere in the country.. and it's cheap.

(Speaking of which, I should probably burn the building down and retire!)

Health care? No fucking way.. You buy in your market, and your market only..

    And now we have THIS..

    It's gonna explode.

If we are all going to be forced into buying Obamacare why should Medicare and Medicade continue?
